Reflection upon my First Tutorial 30/10/08

I felt extremely nervous about my tutorial as the last few weeks I had felt disillusioned about everything, I had become increasing inspired by the Environmental Design group as they expressed a passion to develop and create space which benefited the environment and the community adding to this the majority expressed the need to sustain there projects. The discussions surrounding sustainability and its importance to the local community sparked my interest as it reflected what I had studied at my pervious university. I had studied in great depth the understanding of sustainable futures on an international concept and whether or not it was a realistic option.

So to see students wanting to put practical designs into communities to reflect sustainability really changed my view of design and how it can be used to benefit people. These feeling naturally left me feeling really disillusioned about my passion as I thought my passion was to create documentaries which educate society about such issues and to also question how people respond to such issues.
